The largest solar farm globally is the Golmud Solar Park in China, with a solar capacity of 2.8 GW. The park has almost seven million solar panels that work together to produce clean energy. The Chinese government aims to increase the park's capacity to 16 GW within the next five to six years. To provide perspective, one GW can power one million UK homes for an hour or approximately 100 million LED light bulbs.
